No designer inspires me or takes my breath away quite like the late Alexander McQueen.
His collections of “Look At ME Right This Instant” Heels are on my Top Five Greatest Things of All Time list! They also fall into my “I Could Never Afford but Drool Over Anyways” list – which, coincidentally includes McQueen’s clutches as well.

When I first started day-dreaming about leopard print shoes, I pictured myself prancing around in a pair of ballet flats… with dark skinny jeans, an ivory blouse and pearls perhaps. As I started exploring the magical world of Leopard Print Shoes however, I was delighted to find styles for every occasion imaginable. Needless to say, I decided that I simply could not limit myself to just ONE pair of animal print shoes. One must have at least two pairs to suffice… or three…. or more…. As 2011 draws to a close, I am reminded of what a crazy, wild, adventurous year it has been. So many changes in my life both personally and professionally. Looking forward, I am excited about 2012 and the changes it will bring: New Job, New City (and State!), New Direction for the blog…. the possibilities are endless.
My mind is running ninety million miles an hour with all the things I need to get done in the next week, so this post is just a Relaxing Escape filled with vibrant color. Time to take a deep breath, slow down and enjoy the inspiration in the world around us. Breath in….Breath out.

I ABSOLUTELY love a bargain! At lunch today, I decided to check out this quaint little thrift store down the road from my office…and I am THRILLED to pieces that I did! They had Children’s book for a dime, antique books for a quarter and $2.00 SHOES!! I only had a brief time to peak around, but I snagged two CUTE pairs of shoes and 10 books for Josie! definitely going back next week…..
