No designer inspires me or takes my breath away quite like the late Alexander McQueen.
His collections of “Look At ME Right This Instant” Heels are on my Top Five Greatest Things of All Time list! They also fall into my “I Could Never Afford but Drool Over Anyways” list – which, coincidentally includes McQueen’s clutches as well.

When I first started day-dreaming about leopard print shoes, I pictured myself prancing around in a pair of ballet flats… with dark skinny jeans, an ivory blouse and pearls perhaps. As I started exploring the magical world of Leopard Print Shoes however, I was delighted to find styles for every occasion imaginable. Needless to say, I decided that I simply could not limit myself to just ONE pair of animal print shoes. One must have at least two pairs to suffice… or three…. or more…. Driving to work this morning I heard the Red High Heels song on the Radio. This song always reminds me of Ex-boyfriends, so my mind lingered there for a moment. Then I began the think of how grateful I am to be single at this very moment! Sure, its always nice to have a Snuggle Buddy on a Friday night while watching Sleepless in Seattle for the hundred-and-fifth time! Sure its nice to have someone to pay for your dinner and movies!
But what about all the advantages that we Single Gals have that Taken Gals dont?!?!?! I can think of a few…
*Hogging ALL of the covers… and all of the pillows too!
*Watching the Keeping up with the Kardashians marathon on a Saturday afternoon (as opposed to Nascar, college basketball etc.) and not even having to explain WHY we like them so much!
*Making our own schedule… if we want to go to the Waffle House at 10:00pm, we can!
*Having ALL the closet space – yes, my shoes really DO take up that much room!
*Only having to touch the toilet seat when we clean it! No up, down, up, down….
