I think I shall buy an Ear Cuff.

Super Busy!

Hello Lovelies!!!

My deepest apologies for being absent from my sweet little Blog as of late!

Here are the (few) things that have been occupying my time…

*Writing for Fashion Wrap Up {Fabulous Online Fashion Magazine!!}

*Launching Stellar Social Media {My own Social Media company….work in progress as I am busy with clients. Hurray!}

*Spending time with my almost-four-year-old Josie! {She loved the Mardi Gras parades here!}

… And working full time!

In my “Spare Time” I am busy getting creative on my boards on Pinterest or on my Tumblr.

I love my life… but sometimes it is busier than other times and now is just one of those times!

Thank you, dear reader, for being faithful! I promise to put you at the very top of my TO DO list!

Fabulous DIY Jewelry Organizers

Since the move a few weeks ago all of my Bling Bling has been in a jumbled mess!! About 99% of my necklaces, earrings and rings are still in a box. I am wearing the same two pieces over and over again, YIKES! I must find a way to re-organzie my precious pieces once again so that I can SEE everything and therefore WEAR everything.

Here are some of the ideas that I found to help me display my Bling Bling with pizzazz:

{Love the Picture Frame! Can I paint mine with Glitter??}

Tulle for Today

One of the things that I NEED hanging in my Closet in 2012 is a Tulle skirt (A.K.A. Carrie Bradshaw). I will wear it with vintage Rock-n-Roll tees and tank tops. Flip Flops or Heels…. the possibilities are endless. I have multiple pairing options already in my wardrobe (and in my mind), so really, it would be an investment piece!!

I even bought one for Josie for Christmas (the Little Diva!!)

DIY Feather Clutch

Contrary to popular belief, I did NOT get the ASOS Feather Clutch that I was coveting for Christmas (Thanks Santa! See if I keep believing in you after this!!).

Being the Creative Fashionista that I am, I decided that I would make my own feather clutch, rather than buying it for myself… Cheaper and ALOT more fun!

Feather Clutch Lust:

Here is what you need to make your own FABULOUS Feather Clutch:

**Thrift Store Cloth Clutch (I scored this clutch for $1.62 including tax!!)
**Feather Boa ($7.00 at Hobby Lobby)
**Hot Glue Gun
**Glue Sticks (about ten cents apiece)
**Scissors

Total Cost = $9.00

STEP ONE: Measure out Feather Boa and align on clutch. Make sure that the Feathers cover the cloth completely.

STEP TWO: Use the Hot Glue Gun to glue the Feather Boa to the clutch. Wrap Boa around the clutch while gluing it in place. Use ample glue to secure.

STEP THREE: Wrap and glue feather boa to the entire clutch.

STEP FOUR: Enjoy your FABULOUS new Feather Clutch!!!! Be prepared for jealous and coveting looks of your one of a kind Clutch!!

I will be Rockin’ my Feather Clutch on New Years Eve… Where will you take yours??

Have a Wonderful Holiday Week Lovelies!!

DIY Letter Collage

Oh, How I do love my magazines!!

In light of my upcoming move to a different state, I am trying to “recycle, reduce and reuse” everything thing in my house. I am still in the process of going through my large stack of magazines (although, in my defense, I have managed to give away quite a few old magazines and….gasp…throw some out completely).

Last night, I decided to get creative and put my Glamour magazines from 2008 to good use!

DIY Letter Collage:

Items You Will Need:
*Old Magazines
*Picture Frame
*Scrap Paper
*Scissors
*Glue (I used the roll-on craft kind)

Step One: Rip pages from the magazines into shreds, using the colors that you want to use.

Step Two: Glue paper shreds to scrap paper. I used the black shreds to cover the page as a background for my Letter “J”.

Step Three: Arrange colored shreds in the shape of the letter that you wish. Glue shreds on top of the background. Insert in frame and hang in desired location. Finished!

Blustery Saturday Inspiration

My life has been a WHIRLWIND recently! The past few weeks have been a barrage of social activities, packing my house, getting ready to move…. and everything that comes with several big changes in my life! I am moving from Georgia back to Florida. It’s an exciting yet crazy busy time!! Needless to say, my lovely blog has been neglected a bit. I am still finding inspiration in the world around me, just not as much at the moment to share it with all of you. However, on this chilly Saturday morning, I will pass along a few nuggets.

Enjoy!!
