How to wear White before Memorial Day…

We all know the Age-Old  Rule that you simply CANNOT wear white after Labor Day or before Memorial Day (unless, of course, you are over the age of 65 or under the age of 5, in which case no one will judge you!).

However, living in the south where the weather is 82 degrees in March (like today), I would like to explore the possibilities of wearing white, cream, and ivory in the Spring.

I plan to dust off my short white eyelet skirt and parade around town this weekend!!

Super Busy!

Hello Lovelies!!!

My deepest apologies for being absent from my sweet little Blog as of late!

Here are the (few) things that have been occupying my time…

*Writing for Fashion Wrap Up {Fabulous Online Fashion Magazine!!}

*Launching Stellar Social Media {My own Social Media company….work in progress as I am busy with clients. Hurray!}

*Spending time with my almost-four-year-old Josie! {She loved the Mardi Gras parades here!}

… And working full time! 

In my “Spare Time” I am busy getting creative on my boards on Pinterest or on my Tumblr.

I love my life… but sometimes it is busier than other times and now is just one of those times!

Thank you, dear reader, for being faithful! I promise to put you at the very top of my TO DO list!

Friday Love ~ SGC NYC

Spending my morning working (Social Media), writing (London Fashion Week) and perusing the SGC NYC site.

Ok, so maybe more of the latter than the former at this point, but I have the best of intentions!

SGC NYC is the Cool Site that all the other Sites want to BE when they grow up!

10 Crosby Derek Lam ~ Fall 2012 RTW Collection

As always, during New York Fashion Week I see collections that I ADORE and collections that don’t quite suit me. The 10 Crosby Derek Lam Fall RTW collection falls into the first category! The reasonably priced collection sports pieces that look like they belong on a New York City socialite lounging in her Upper East Side flat before a night out. The pajama pants paired with a navy jacket and mile high Red Heels look comfy enough to make dinner, mix cocktails and then entertain guests with ease.

Valentines Day Wish List

With Valentine’s Day a week away, I have decided to treat myself to a little something extra to celebrate Single-and-Fabulous Day!

For those of us gals who don’t have an extra man lying around to pamper us on this Hallmark Holiday, I suggest we put on our Brightest Red Lipstick, Highest Heels and that Little Black Dress that gives us Catherine Zeta-Jones curves! Who needs a reason to drink Champagne and eat Godiva Chocolate on a Tuesday?!?!? I intend to do just that… in Heels and Lip Gloss, OF COURSE!

Enjoy your Wonderful Amazing Day Lovelies because you deserve it!

It is no secret, my undying love affair with the colors Black and Pink combined.

Don’t tell Pink, but Black might start cheating on her with another color after seeing Kate Spade‘s Spring 2012 Collection. Orange, Lavender and Mint keeping flirting with Black… and while He will always remain true to Pink, I personally would like to see him with one of the other colors. Scandal!

Fabulous DIY Jewelry Organizers

Since the move a few weeks ago all of my Bling Bling has been in a jumbled mess!! About 99% of my necklaces, earrings and rings are still in a box. I am wearing the same two pieces over and over again, YIKES! I must find a way to re-organzie my precious pieces once again so that I can SEE everything and therefore WEAR everything.

Christian Dior Spring 2012 Couture

Ever since I was a little girl and watched the movie Mrs. ‘Arris goes to Paris I have wanted to own/wear a Dior dress. The Spring 2012 Couture Collection from Dior was absolutely breathtaking. Channeling 1950′s Grace Kelly Glamour, the dresses ranged from sheer Housewife apparel to swooping Red Carpet worthy gowns. It was a step back in time to watch.
